SimOptic 2008 is a Desktop application, developed with the aim of virtually simulating the operation of an Optical Microscope, as well as including other useful features. Its importance lies in substituting to a high degree the use of expensive optical microscopes in the teaching process. In addition, the installation of the system includes in this edition a whole collection of multiple unpublished samples of great visual quality (103 samples in total), added to its Internal Library in the form of *.sim files. All this is achieved with a single module integrated into a Desktop application.
